Description of Duties:
The Department Administrator I Assists the Senior Department Administrator to manage, direct and oversee the clinical operations management of the assigned department and/or its subdivisions; organizes, administers, coordinates, and controls the activities and programs of the various subdivisions of the department.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of four years of full-time experience in business, scientific or academic administration including eighteen months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity. The preferred candidate will have previous Clinical Laboratory experience, knowledge/experience with Clinical Laboratory Regulatory Standards/Agencies, and healthcare fiscal management experience.
