The Content Specialist tells the overarching Roswell Park story in a journalistic way, through the services and programs provided at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park). The Content Specialist also develops content across digital platforms, including Roswell Park websites, landing pages, social media, email marketing, online advertisements, blogs, etc. and with all content types.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in writing as a journalist with knowledge of digital content writing. The preferred candidate will have experience writing effective persuasive copy for multiple channels and content types, and marketing automation platforms and targeted to various audiences, will have strong knowledge of and experience with digital communications platforms, including content management systems and social media, strong journalistic interview skills, and the ability to create multi-media content independently, including images, video and audio.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
