Clinical Support Assistant
The Clinical Support Assistant performs clerical support functions in an assigned inpatient unit of the organization. The Clinical Support Assistant answers routine inquiries, screens calls, and assists visitors and patients. They perform the above duties and responsibilities in a confidential environment requiring direct supervision with limited latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one year of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology. The preferred candidate will have experience in clerical work in an acute care setting, experience in customer service in an acute care or clinic setting, and medical terminology certification or degrees. They will also be reliable, have a team approach, and be flexible.
