Description of Duties:
The Clinical Pathways Analyst Collaboratively works within the Clinical Pathway team to obtain, analyze and share concordance data and pathway usage information. They also present Clinical Pathway data to clinical staff, administrative staff and payers to evaluate the impact of the program, participate in research related to clinical pathways, working to understand gaps in knowledge, and assist with preparation of grant submissions and research protocols.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in data analysis and reporting, clinical research, organizational/process management, documentation management, information technology, data quality and/or related field. The preferred candidate will have experience in quality/performance improvement health data, experience with electronic tools such as Tableau, Redcap, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, or comparable programs, the ability to perform data queries, data analysis and reporting, and the ability to navigate electronic databases. The candidate will also have understanding of basic statistics, data analysis and related tools, and experience in developing, conducting, and maintaining research protocols involving human subjects. They will also have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to appropriately and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, the ability to display a team-oriented and collaborative approach by working with team members of diverse professional backgrounds and career objectives, and have knowledge of basic medical terminologies and cancer treatment related terminologies.
