Description of Duties:
The Clinical Data Manager I provides clinical data services, designs clinical trials databases, and uses database system functions to manage clinical trial data. The Clinical Data Manager I also monitors data integrity of the Clinical Trials Database System, provides documentation related to the use of the database system including any new procedures for collection of data, and trains all staff in the use and interpretation of the database system and its reports.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a science or medical field and the equivalent of one year of full-time clinical data management experience; or an Associate’s degree in a science or medical field and the equivalent of three years of full-time clinical data management experience. The preferred candidate will have over two years of experience in clinical data management, experience with at least one clinical trial software (e.g., eClinical, Medidata Rave, Oncore, Oracle Siebel, etc.), as well as Microsoft Excel, and will have experience in oncology trials. They will also have working knowledge of database design or data modeling principles and will have the ability to work independently or in teams.
