The Clinical Center Associate (CCA) performs clerical support functions in the Niagara Falls location. The employee will answer routine inquiries, schedule patient appointments and ancillary testing, maintain and coordinate clinic schedules, and manage co-pay collection process. The CCA will also enter data into EMR, assist patients and visitors, greet patients, and verify insurance information. The CCA will act as a receptionist, handle phone calls, transcribe physician orders, participate in team or group work activities in the clinic, order supplies, and pick up, drop off, and distribute mail from the mail room. Duties will be performed with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Applicants must have a Medical Office Assistant Associate’s degree. Applicants must also have an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one year of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or a High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an RPCI-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of one year of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or a High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two years of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology.
