Business Systems Analyst I
Works under the direction of more senior IT team members; provides assistance with the IT support of various business units while ensuring that technology solutions and systems align with the needs and objectives of the business and organization; works closely with business owners and IT team members to assess, document business processes/requirements, recommend process improvements and document system processes; performs lower level and routine software design, configuration, testing and support activities for a wide range of software applications.
Applicants must possess an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience utilizing, working with or supporting information systems. The preferred candidate will possess the following: experience supporting clinical and laboratory environments; experience providing technical assistance for laboratory informatics-related hardware and software; experience providing computer-related laboratory and clinical data to departmental staff and other pertinent staff; experience with laboratory system compliance with regulatory agency guidelines; and experience with maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety and compliance standards.
