Description of Duties:
The Ambulatory Business Manager assists the Senior Administrators/Directors and Leadership of the assigned department and/or its subdivisions to manage, direct and oversee the clinical and departmental operations. The Ambulatory Business Manager organizes, administers, coordinates, and controls the activities and programs of the various subdivisions of the department.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in business or healthcare administration including eighteen months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of five years of full-time experience in business or healthcare administration including eighteen months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity. The preferred candidate will possess an MBA, will have advance skills in MS Office, including Excel and Access, and will have experience in Ambulatory business operations. They will also have strong analytical skills, the ability to train staff, the ability to design and provide customer service training, and the ability to design and perform audits.
