Description of Duties:
The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support to group of Urology researchers, including the Sr. VP for Translational Research. The Administrative Assistant I assists PI's in managing their laboratories and staff, as well as with submission of grants/manuscripts. They also support the academic & clinical duties of faculty clinician(s).
Applicants must have an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four years of full-time secretarial or related experience. The preferred candidate will have at least two years in support of a Principal Investigator in a laboratory setting. They will also have the ability to work across a spectrum of personalities and work styles and will be attentive to details. They will be familiar with the operation of a research lab and will have a strong time and attendance record.
