How do I...get a wig or hat? What about wig styling?

If your cancer treatment will cause you to lose your hair, we’ve got you covered! Roswell Park’s Resource Center for Patients and Families invites you to choose a wig, hat or other head covering from the extensive collection in their Wig and Hat Boutique. The Resource Center offers hats and caps for men, too. It’s all thanks to generous donations to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.

The Resource Center is tucked inside the Sunflower Café on the first floor of the hospital (near the cash registers). You don't need an appointment, so stop in to view the collection on your next visit. They're open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

It will take about 10 days for your wig to arrive after you place your order. Hats and other head coverings are in stock and don’t have to be ordered.

Once you've chosen a wig, our New York State-licensed hairstylists can custom trim and shape it for you at no cost. Please note that due to safety precautions in place during the pandemic, the wig styling program may be on hold temporarily, so contact the Resource Center first if you're interested.
