Cruisin' for a Cure Is About to Roll In!

Crazy about classic cars? Then you won’t want to miss the 8th annual Cruisin’ for a Cure Buffalo Niagara car show and prostate cancer early detection event at Roswell Park. The free, family-friendly festivities take place Saturday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Presented by West Herr New York, MANUP Buffalo (Men Allied for the Need to Understand Prostate Cancer) and Roswell Park, Cruisin’ brings together a jaw-dropping collection of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles that you can admire up close. Food trucks will be on hand, and there will be music, door prizes, goodie bags and raffles. Keep an eye out for The North Ridge (Buffalo NY Star Wars Fanforce) and other costumed characters.

As part of the event, men between ages 40-70 are invited to participate in a free prostate cancer early detection clinic from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. You must register in advance and registration will be opening soon! Men at high risk of prostate cancer, including African-Americans and those with a family history of prostate cancer, are especially encouraged to attend. Those who are eligible and registered will receive one-on-one educational consultation and a complete, free prostate cancer screening.

Proceeds from the event benefit MANUP Buffalo.
