March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and Steven Nurkin, MD, took time to discuss this disease with Roswellness Radio last Sunday. Dr. Nurkin emphasized the importance of colorectal cancer screening and the role it can play in prevening this disease. He was joined by colorectal cancer survivor, Debbie Byrnes, also an advocate for screening. Debbie, whose cancer spread to her lungs and liver, has been living without cancer for over three years. She discussed her feelings after being diagnosed and detailed the treatments she received at Roswell Park.
