Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL)—Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

The two main forms of lymphoma are Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL). Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common form of NHL, accounting for up to 30 percent of newly diagnosed patients in the United States. Diffuse large B-cell grows and spreads aggressively and requires immediate treatment. Treatment includes chemotherapy along with rituximab, a monoclonal anti-B cell therapy with or without radiation to treat DLBCL. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL)—Follicular Lymphoma

Follicular lymphoma is a common type of NHL. It is also called indolent lymphoma, as it spreads and grows at a slower pace. The average age at diagnosis is about 55. The graph below shows the survival data for Roswell Park patients diagnosed between 2004-2010:
