Roswell Park offers a full menu of immunotherapies, including FDA-approved treatments and clinical trials for a wide range of cancers. And every day our researchers move the bar forward in their search for new strategies that will expand that hope to everyone who has cancer.
FDA-approved CAR T-cell therapy
Roswell Park is authorized to provide these FDA-approved chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies:
- Yescarta™, for adults with large B-cell lymphoma that has either relapsed (gone into remission and then returned) or is refractory (has not gone into remission despite treatment). Learn more about Yescarta and find out whether you’re eligible for this treatment.

Patients 25 and younger who have been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) that has either relapsed (gone into remission and then returned) or is refractory (has not gone into remission despite treatment)

Immunotherapy clinical trials
We also offer clinical trials of immunotherapies for virtually all types of cancer. If you’re interested in this option, you’ll be matched with one of our research coordinators, who will assist you throughout your treatment and follow-up care. Working closely with you and your doctors, the Roswell Park team will review your medical records and arrange the necessary lab work to identify the clinical trials that are right for you.
If you do choose to enroll in a clinical trial, we’ll explain the treatment plan with you in detail and answer your questions. You and your loved ones will then meet with a Roswell Park physician for the first consultation.
From the very beginning, a clinical research coordinator will become your partner in care, helping you keep track of your tests and treatment dates. If you need to stop a medicine a few days before treatment, the coordinator will remind you. If you’d rather have your CT scan early in the morning, the coordinator can arrange that. The coordinator will also serve as the main point of contact for you and your family before, during and after your treatment.
Expert care
Cellular therapies are delivered in Roswell Park’s Transplant and Cellular Therapy Center. All clinical staff members who care for patients receiving cellular therapy undergo advanced training to reduce the side effects of these therapies and to address them quickly and appropriately if they do occur.
Guides and support for the road ahead
We know a cancer diagnosis is frightening. We’ve been caring for cancer patients for more than 100 years, and in that time we’ve created a strong support system to handle both the routine and unexpected needs that can arise.
Our Social Work and Case Management teams will guide and support you when you become a patient, assisting you with legal and financial issues, transportation and lodging (if you need to travel to Roswell Park for treatment), planning for your care at home after you leave the hospital, and helping in many other ways, from treatment through recovery.
