The old book doesn’t look like much. Its red fabric cover is faded. The edges of the pages have yellowed, and there are no photos or illustrations inside — just page after page of signatures. The first names were inscribed with fountain pens, but later entries in ballpoint or felt-tip reflect the evolution of writing instruments over the years.

In 2004, Roswell Park became the first facility in the Buffalo Niagara region to offer patients the option of robotic prostatectomy. Today Roswell Park offers robot-assisted surgery (RAS) for treatment of bladder, colorectal, gynecologic, head and neck, kidney, and thoracic cancers.
