Robot-Assisted Radical Cystectomy (bladder removal)
At RPCI, approximately 98% of all bladder cancer surgeries are performed with robotic assistance. RPCI’s outcomes for robot-assisted cystectomy are benchmarked against published averages below. To date, over 225 robot-assisted cystectomies have been performed at RPCI.

Health-Related Quality of Life: Before and After Surgery

Quality of life refers to how patients assess their well-being in different areas of life: physical, social, emotional and day-to-day functioning. Robot-assisted cystectomy patients recover fully 3 months after surgery.
