William Dudley, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, paid a visit to Buffalo April 13, 2012, to update business leaders on the state of the economy and learn more about key economic sectors in Western New York. As part of his daylong visit, Dudley made a stop at Roswell Park for a tour led by Dr. Donald Trump, President and CEO.

Dudley and colleagues toured Roswell Park's Photodynamic Therapy Laboratory and learned about this RPCI-pioneered cancer therapy from Sandra Gollnick, PhD, of the Department of Cell Stress Biology, and Richard Matner, PhD, MBA, former Director of Technology Transfer and Commercial Development. They also visited the Therapeutic Cell Production Facility (TCPF) and heard TCPF Director Christopher Choi, PhD, describe the facility's role in a new clinical trial testing an investigational immune vaccine for cancer, and got a demonstration on how RPCI's new electronic medical records (EMR) system will improve the efficiency and quality of care.

Dudley's last visit to the Buffalo area was in 2010.
