Education is a vital part of Roswell Park Cancer Center's mission. Our educational programs prepare physicians and other cancer experts to be leaders in their chosen fields.

RPCI’s Radiation Medicine Residency Program offers an invaluable educational opportunity in an academic medical center dedicated to patient care, cancer research, and education.  Our Residency Program allows for residents to work closely with our Radiation Oncologists, as we guarantee a 10 to 6 ratio of Radiation Oncologists to Residents. Those interested in clinical research are given the opportunity to dedicate up to nine months of their residency solely to research.

RPCI’s Medical Dosimetry Training Program is designed to prepare students for the technical, theoretical and psychological aspects of a career in Medical Dosimetry. Students acquire the professional skills of dose calculation, treatment design, and quality assurance through intensive classroom and clinical education under the supervision of experienced board certified medical dosimetrists, physicists, radiation oncologists and resident physicians.
