Title Examining Quality of Life Among Long-Term Survivors of Childhood Cancer

Summary This protocol will identify factors directly or indirectly related to the prior diagnosis of childhood cancer or its treatment which may impact on the quality of life of long-term survivors. It will also determine the frequency with which these factors occur in patients with various childhood cancer diagnoses and provide assistance when possible to patients with physical or psychosocial handicaps which are related to the prior diagnosis of childhood cancer or its treatment.
Eligibility
- Diagnosis of childhood, adolescent, or young adult cancer prior to the age of 30 years.
- Treatment for cancer occurred at Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Women's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo following initial diagnosis.
- The patient has survived for 5 or more years from date of original diagnosis and is over 18 years of age.
- The patient has signed an informed consent for participation in the study.
