This award recognizes a Roswell Park Cancer Institute Registered Nurse, in a direct patient care role, who has made a positive difference in the life of a patient/family experiencing cancer by demonstrating compassion and respect for the patient’s individual needs and goals.

Eligibility

Nominated nurses must be currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Roswell Park with 3 years of oncology nursing experience and a minimum of 75% of his or her responsibilities devoted to direct patient care. Previous recipients of this award are not eligible.

Award

Annual award of $1,500 is presented on an annual basis.
