Diagnostic Tests

Doctors use many tests to diagnose cancer and to determine which course of treatment to follow. Diagnostic tests may include biopsy, imaging tests, scans, non-invasive blood and urine tests.  Your age and medical condition, the type of cancer that is suspected, your symptoms, and previous test results will determine what test will be ordered.
