97 Rock Paints Pink "Wall of Hope" at Chef’s Restaurant

Fundraiser will support breast cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute

On Monday, October 5th, Staff from Citadel Broadcasting’s 97 Rock, WGRF 96.9 FM, created a Wall of Hope today by painting an outer wall at one of Buffalo’s best-known eateries, Chef’s Restaurant, pink in tribute to breast cancer fighters and survivors. All proceeds of this fundraising effort will support breast cancer research here at Roswell Park.

Area residents and businesses can support the Wall of Hope brick by brick. For a $25 donation toward breast cancer research at RPCI, you can sponsor a brick, to be painted with the name of a person who has fought or is still fighting breast cancer. Use this online form  to donate throughout the month of October. Stay tuned for updates and more photos from the wall!
