March is celebrated as National Women’s History Month. This episode of Roswellness Radio highlights the contributions that generations of female researchers have made toward the effort to discover cancer cures and quality-of-life advancements. Elizabeth A. Repasky, PhD, the Dr. William Huebsch Professor in Immunology, discusses the thrill of discovery, as four immunology pre-doctoral trainees in the Department of Immunology join her to share their motivations for embarking on careers in the field of science. The pre-doctoral trainees include: Adaobi Amobi; Wei Du, MD; Kathleen Kokolus; and Danielle Twum.   Find out more about Summer Research Programs at Roswell Park. Programs are available for high school and college students. Additional programs are available for health profession, medical and PA students, as well as those interested in infectious disease, microbiology, immunology and nursing.
