The Donor Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute was established in 1964. Founded by Dr. Elias Cohen, the Donor Center at Roswell Park is among the three oldest platelet collection facilities in the country. In addition to its long-standing history, the Donor Center is one of the few centers in the country that employs an all professional nursing staff. Several of our Donor Center nurses have been in blood and platelet collections for over 20 years.

With an all professional nursing staff, donors can expect a high level of expertise, rigorous standards of care as well as compassion and dignity with each donation. Donors are immediately put at ease when they are cared for and monitored by a professional nurse at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Come see what it's all about! Schedule your appointment today. Call 845-8275 or e-mail us at blooddonor@roswellpark.org.
