The Biostatistics Resource ensures that biostatistical, bioinformatics and biomathematical support is readily available to basic, clinical, and population-oriented RPCI collaborators. Services include exploratory data analysis; grant writing (statistical methods sections); hypothesis formulation; experimental design; fitting models to data; simulating data from models; developing customized data mining software and developing novel methods based on emerging technologies (.e.g. cutting edge microarray platforms, computer intensive statistical methods).
