Summary Collection of leukocytes from healthy normal volunteer donors and patients with leukemia for use in clinical research at RPCI.
Eligibility
  • Adults > or = 18 years of age and < 85 years old
  • No known heart, lung, kidney disease, or bleeding disorders
  • Signed informed consent
  • No uncontrolled hypertension
  • Negative pregnancy test for female volunteers of child-bearing capability
  • Acceptable blood counts for gender as determined by CBC. Hb > =  12.4, Hct> = 38, Plt> = 150 and < =600, WBC>=3 and < =15. This applies to normal volunteers only
  • Adequate antecubital veins
  • Meet blood bank guidelines pertaining to frequency or volume of blood or blood component donation
