Summary To determine the effect on PSA level while taking high dose vitamin D3 supplementation vs placebo in patients with localized, histologically proven adenocarcinoma of prostate who have not received any treatment for prostate cancer ever and are under active surveillance.
Eligibility
  • Any patient with clinically localized, histologically proven adenocarcinoma of prostate who has not received any treatment for prostate cancer ever and had chosen active surveillance
  • Good performance status
  •  Must agree not to take any additional Vitamin D supplements
