Description of Duties:
Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) invites applications for a faculty position at the level of Associate or Full Professor (Associate or Full Member) designated to lead the Epidemiology section within the Institute’s Cancer Prevention and Control Department.
The Department of Cancer Prevention and Control, led by Christine Ambrosone, PhD at Roswell Park Cancer Institute is comprised of Epidemiology, Chemoprevention and Health Disparities sections, with outstanding transdisciplinary research opportunities. Investigators have access to extensive resources for research, including in-depth epidemiological and clinical data and banked biospecimens that are collected, pretreatment, from newly diagnosed cancer patients. Patients with benign conditions, metastatic disease are also enrolled, as well as healthy controls.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree with a background in molecular epidemiology, a productive publication record in cancer research, and strong leadership qualities. Selection will be based on excellence in research, evidence of success in obtaining peer-reviewed funding, and potential to maintain an outstanding independent research program focused on multidisciplinary cancer research. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of faculty and students both within the Institute and the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
