Description of Duties: 

Performs a variety of duties in the evaluation, treatment planning and treatment of patients, such as medical work-ups of inpatients and outpatients; assists in surgical procedures; participates in providing postoperative care and follow-up; performs other medical/surgical services on patient divisions as may be requested.

Qualifications: 

License and Certification Requirements
1. License to practice as a Registered Physician Assistant in the State of New York; and
2. Current Registered Physician Assistant certification in New York State; and
3. Certification as a Registered Physician Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) or other national certifying body recognized the New York State Education Department.

Education and Experience
Completion of a New York State Education Department-approved physician assistant program or a New York State Education Department-approved equivalent.

The preferred candidate will have 2-3 years of neurosurgery experience.

Salary: 
$75,768 annually. Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
