Description of Duties:
The Nursing Staff Development Instructor pomotes professional development of all nursing personnel; provides orientation; assesses, plans, coordinates, implements and evaluates educational programs designed to meet identified learning needs; provides educational intervention that enhances growth and allows nursing staff to provide high quality nursing care to oncology patients across the pediatric through geriatric age and developmental continuum.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York and a Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or a related healthcare field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time education/preceptor experience or previous teaching experience; or
a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Education or a related health care field and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time education/preceptor experience or previous teaching experience.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have a Masters degree in Nursing and at least three years of experience.

Full-time, Nights
