Health Insurance
Roswell Park Cancer Institute offers a comprehensive health insurance program for eligible employees who work a schedule of at least 50%. Enrollment in health insurance coverage is optional and begins following a designated waiting period after hire.
There are currently 3 health insurance plans available to eligible employees. Coverage and costs vary by plan. The Institute pays a portion of the cost for coverage, and the employee’s share of the premium is made via payroll deduction, pre-tax. Individual, family and domestic partner coverages are available. The use of participating providers with each plan will ensure the maximum benefit.
Employees have the option to change their health insurance coverage each year during an option-transfer period. Specific information on health insurance plan costs and coverages are provided at the time of offer based on the employee’s designated position.
Dental & Vision Coverages
Benefits-eligible employees of Roswell Park Cancer Institute are eligible for both dental and vision coverages following a designated waiting period after hire. There is no cost to the employee for these coverages. Individual, family and domestic partner coverages are available. Specific information on dental and vision coverages are provided at the time of offer based on the employee’s designated position.
