Description of Duties:
This Utilities Operations Analyst will continuously analyze data gathered through various sources, then determine and reset the energy systems at the Institute for their most efficient operation through manual and automatic processes. The incumbent will develop manuals, spreadsheets, procedures and training allowing others to understand the various operational strategies and benefits, as well as maintain primary responsibility for performing system configuration programming and special assignments related to the operation and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and other support systems for the Institute's heating, ventilation, cooling and electrical systems.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of 3 years of full-time experience in several aspects of facilities management and energy conservation including steam and condensate systems, chilled and condensed water systems, HVAC, plumbing, control systems and electrical systems; or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of 5 years of full-time experience in several aspects of facilities management and energy conservation including steam and condensate systems, chilled and condensed water systems, HVAC, plumbing, control systems and electrical systems.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have advanced troubleshooting skills, a comprehensive knowledge of maintenance management concepts, and an excellent working knowledge of steam and condensate systems, chilled and condensed water systems, electric distribution systems, fire alarm systems, fire protection systems, HVAC systems, control systems, potable water systems, lighting, plumbing and carpentry.
Hours/Shift:
Full-time, Nights (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am)
Salary:
$51,268 annually. Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
