Description of Duties: 

Performs more complex administrative, clerical, and general office duties in a clinical/medical setting for Clinical Department Heads; transcribes, types, maintains records and files, distributes mail; performs telephone reception; welcomes and directs on-site visitors; duplicates and distributes photocopies; routes faxes; revises work assignments at various subordinate levels to enhance administrative support efforts and meet department objectives; participates in the team or group work activities in the office; performs the above duties and responsibilities in a considerably complex and confidential environment requiring little or no supervision with broad latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.

Qualifications: 

Open Competitive Qualification Requirements
1. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
2. High School Diploma or GED and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as following acceptable educational practices.

$36,523 annually. Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
