The HCA will maintain a neat, clean orderly OR suite environment; complete sterilizer testing as required; obtain supplies and equipment needed for preparing for surgical procedures; re-stock supply areas, assist with cleaning rooms as needed; assist with transport of case carts, room set-up, and the redistribution of supplies; identify equipment that needs repairs, maintain constant communication with the charge person; work collaboratively with OR technician and SPD staff as a team to prepare the OR for the next day's cases; assist with instrumentation in SPD as educated; and assist SPD staff as needed.
