Description of Duties: 

The Clinical Program Administrator provides administrative support and oversight for the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program related clinical, financial and administrative issues and concerns. The Administrator interfaces with all clinical and research departments of the Institute, in order to optimize the delivery of patient care by developing systems for efficient care delivery. This systemization will allow for appropriate disease treatment, prevention, and patient education. Specifically the Clinical Administrator of the BMT Program provides administrative support for the BMT Program; represents the program in all associated administrative, financial and clinical meetings; is administratively responsible for all BMT Program staff; approves the system for the development of all Program-related standard operating policies and procedures; ensures the accreditation process for the program on a national level; supports/manages the BMT Program process and program growth; works with the managed care office regarding patient referrals and outreach; work with the BMT Program data managers,; resolves personnel issues; works with BMT nursing to develop patient-education resources and programs; and develops processes for clinical revenue enhancement opportunities.

Qualifications: 

Applicants must posses a Master’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a hospital healthcare setting including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in a hospital healthcare setting including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as following acceptable educational practices.

Hours/Shift: 
8:30am-5pm, M-F
