Joint Commission
The Joint Commission has a longstanding commitment to providing meaningful information about the comparative performance of accredited organizations to the public. The Joint Commission publishes organization-specific Performance Reports. To earn and maintain The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™, an organization must undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least every three years. (Laboratories must be surveyed every two years.) Roswell Park had an unannounced survey in the Fall of 2006 and maintains full accreditation with the Gold Seal of Approval.
