Denise Oliansky joined Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 2005 as a project coordinator. She comes to RPCI from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, where she worked as a research associate for the Center for Urban Studies.
Denise earned her Master of Arts degree in Lifespan Development Psychology from Wayne State University in 1987, and will earn her Master of Library and Information Science degree in the spring of 2007, also from Wayne State University.
Denise's research interests include health services research, program evaluation, family composition and family functioning, childhood obesity, education, special education, school health and nutrition programs, addiction research, the impact of childhood cancer on siblings, and the quality of life of bone marrow transplant patients.
Denise is a member of the American Library Association, the Society of American Archivists, American Evaluation Association and the Special Libraries Association.
Denise has authored and co-authored several publications from previous research positions.
