DESCRIPTION

This multidisciplinary conference will provide clinicans who work in Radiation Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging with information on  state-of-the-art treatment modalities, therapeutic management and clinical support issues, which are relevant to a unique and challenging patient population.

TOURS of the RADIATION MEDICINE DEPARTMENT

Conference registrants are invited to tour the Department of Radiation Medicine at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), Thursday September 10, at 6:00 pm.  You must pre-register to attend. Please pick up your transportation and tour passes at the Registration Desk in the Conference Center Niagara Falls by 5:00 pm, September 10.  Buses will leave the Conference Center at 5:30 pm. Returning busses will leave Roswell Park Cancer Institute at 7:30 pm.  Round-trip transportation will be provided.

CANCELLATION

Roswell Park Cancer Institute reserves the right to cancel this program for any reason. Registrants will be notified. Requests for refunds must be in writing.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after September 1, 2009.

Rooms have been reserved for conference participants at the Crown Plaza Hotel Niagara Falls, 300 Third Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Conference Center Niagara Falls.

Take the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) to I-290 West to I-190 North to Robert Moses Parkway North Exit - Exit #21
Stay in the right hand lane on the Robert Moses Parkway and exit towards "city traffic"
At the second traffic light, turn left onto Rainbow Blvd
Turn right onto Third Street (Holiday Inn on corner)

Take the Gardiner Expressway to the QEW South

GROUND TRANSPORTATION FROM THE BUFFALO NIAGARA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT to the Hotel and Conference Center

(The airport is approximately 25 miles from the Conference Center Niagara Falls.)
