Dr. Wojciech G. Lesniak joined the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2005 as a Research Associate in the Department of Radiation Medicine (Nanotechnology Research). He earned his PhD in Bioinorganic and Biomedical Chemistry (2001) and his MS in Chemistry (1997) at the University of Wroclaw, Poland. He completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Lesniak's research involves the modification and analysis of PAMAM dendrimers and the analysis and fabrication of nanocomposites. He is particularly interested in the potential to use nanomaterials in cancer diagnosis and therapy, medical imaging, contrast agents, targeted drug delivery, and quantum dots.
