Theresa Hahn, PhD, joined the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 1998 as a doctoral student and was appointed an Assistant Member in the Department of Medicine and Department of Epidemiology in the Division of Cancer Prevention & Population Sciences in 2003.
Dr. Hahn earned her doctoral degree in Epidemiology in 2000 at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB); completed a Fellowship in Hematologic Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) in 2003 from the RPCI Graduate Division. She also serves as Clinical Information Director, Hematologic Oncology Program, Data Management Supervisor, BMT Program, and Director of Quality Assurance, BMT Program RPCI.
Her research interests include clinical epidemiology, outcomes research, evidence based medicine, blood and marrow transplantation and infectious disease epidemiology.
Dr. Hahn is a member of several Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research working committees, the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Association of Cancer Research.
Dr. Hahn has authored or co-authored more than 30 journal articles and 40 abstracts. She is an invited journal reviewer for Blood, Bone Marrow Transplantation, and Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation; and invited abstract reviewer for American Society of Hematology.
