Research Programs
Roswell Park clinicians and researchers are working to quickly answer questions about the cause of cancer and the effectiveness of potential therapies by working together on key programs. RPCI is the only upstate New York facility to hold the National Cancer Institute designation of "comprehensive cancer center" and one of 41 such centers in the United States. This designation means that a cancer center's combined research, treatment and educational programs have weathered extensive peer review, met rigorous national standards, and made fundamental contributions to reducing the cancer burden.
Current research programs are listed below or on the left, either method may be selected for more information. For a list of Shared Resources, please click here.
