Research of members of the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department focuses on elucidating the mechanisms underlying normal differentiation and development in mammals and understanding the genetic and epigenetic perturbations which disrupt that process.
The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology manages the NMR Resource, which provides instrumentation and software for acquiring and processing nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) data for profiling of body fluids (‘metabonomics’) and characterization of bio-molecular structures.
