The Sarcoma (Musculoskeletal) Center diagnoses and treats benign and malignant diseases of the musculoskeletal system, including soft tissue and bone.

Overview

Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s (RPCI) experts in soft-tissue sarcoma include specialists in surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic radiology, pathology and rehabilitation support.

Treatment approaches for this disease include conservative operations, combined with radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy, which offer patients a high rate of tumor control while avoiding amputation.
