Patients living with a diagnosis of cancer contend with special worries and concerns. Their families share those concerns. That is why the clinical program at Roswell Park Cancer Institute provides strong, continual support for the patient and the patient's family throughout the course of the disease. Roswell Park clinicians and staff have highly specialized expertise in the care and treatment of specific cancers and detailed knowledge of clinical studies that may offer patients the best hope for cure or extended quality of life.

 

Each Roswell Park patient benefits from a customized, comprehensive care program developed by a multidisciplinary team of cancer specialists. The program addresses the medical, nutritional, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient from diagnosis through treatment and rehabilitation, discharge and follow-up care.

 

 

 

The Pancreatic Center of Excellence diagnoses, treats, manages tumors of the pancreas. Particular attention is directed toward developing innovative therapies and diagnostic approaches Roswell Park has always been known as an innovator of new procedures and treatment for cancer. Currently, surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, clinical genetics, radiologists and nutritionists support this multidisciplinary practice.
