NCI Study of Brain Tumors/Use of Cellular Telephones - NCI began a comprehensive study of possible environmental and genetic causes of malignant and benign brain tumors in 1994. The present report focusing on cellular telephones is one part of the much larger study and was intended to determine whether use of these devices increases the risk of brain tumors.

Coping With Your Loved One’s Brain Tumor – National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) brochure that describes important coping strategies for caregivers and family members of a loved one with a brain tumor.

American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) – The first national, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting brain tumor research, while offering information and support to brain tumor patients and their families.
National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) – National nonprofit organization formed by the merger of the National Brain Tumor Foundation (NBTF) and the Brain Tumor Society (BTS). Invests in research to find new therapeutic targets and improve existing treatments. Provides education and information to help patients, families, and caregivers make informed decisions and develop strong support systems from diagnosis through treatment, to end of care and survivorship.
Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation – Not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing information and awareness for children and adolescents with cancer and their families, to advocate for their needs, and to support research so every child survives and leads a long and healthy life.
Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation – A nationwide not-for-profit organization whose mission is to improve the treatment, quality of life and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research, support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors.
Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF) – Nonprofit charitable organization, also the world's largest non-governmental source of funding for childhood brain tumor research. Offers educational resources to deliver comfort and hope to families in need of information, and a college scholarship program to give brain tumor survivors a boost for the future.
Starlight Children's Foundation – A not for profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with serious medical conditions by providing entertainment, education and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation of prolonged illness.
