The Annual BMT Clinic consists of a dedicated BMT clinical team consisting of physicians, dentists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, nurses and social workers who can offer clinical advice and recommendations to BMT patients who often have unique and specialized needs.

About the Physicians

Heading the team is Philip McCarthy MD. Dr. McCarthy is the Director of the Transplant Program and has been a transplant physician for 16 years.

The physicians and nurse practitioners who participate in this program include:

• Barabara Bambach MD who is an expert in Pediatric BMT
• Maureen Sullivan MD who is the chief of the RPCI dental department and and expert in dental care of the cancer patient
• Karen Brown RN, NP who is nurse practitioner specializing in the care of BMT patients. 
• Pam Paplham RN, NP who is nurse practitioner specializing in the care of BMT patients.
