Ms. Gajewski joined the staff of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 1992, in the Nutrition Department while attending Nursing school at Trocaire College. After graduation in 1993, Ms. Gajewski began her nursing career as a staff nurse on 7 West, the Head and Neck, Thoracic, STMB medical-surgical unit.  In 1997, Ms. Gajewski transferred to ICU as a staff nurse, and from 2000 to 2005 was Nurse Administrator for ICU and PACU: 2005-2006 Decision Support Analysts RN for the Organizational Performance Improvement department.

Since 2006 Ms. Gajewski has returned to nursing as the Nurse Administrator for 7 West, UGI, LGI medical-surgical unit.

In 1998 Ms. Gajewski completed baccalaureate work at Daemen College, and earned a Masters in Nursing form University of Phoenix in 2006.

Ms. Gajewski is licensed by New York State and is certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.   She also is part-time faculty at Trocaire College since 2002 where she teaches Clinical Nursing.   

Ms. Gajewski is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Oncology Nursing Society and Sigma Theta Tau, Nursing Honor Society.
