Barbra Dodds joined Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 1988 as a staff nurse on The Gynecologic Oncology (GYN) unit.

Ms. Dodds earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1988 from D'Youville College. She holds licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York. She was named a Western New York Nurse of Distinction in 1992 by The New York State Legislature.

Ms. Dodds is a member of both the National and Western New York Chapters of the Oncology Nursing Society. She also serves on several Institute committees including the Sharps Safety, Laser Safety, Quality of Life, Medication Safety, Nursing Retention and Recruitment and Electronic Medical Record End User Group.
