Nefertiti du Pont, MD, MPH, has joined the faculty of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI). Dr. Nefertiti du Pont’s clinical practice and research interest focus on robotic surgery and the diagnosis, treatment and management of cervical cancer.

Dr. du Pont earned her medical degree from Texas A & M University College of Medicine in College Station, Texas, in 1999; completed residency training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 2003, and completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Division of Gynecologic Oncology in Orange, California, in 2007.

She comes to RPCI from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Administration, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she completed a Master of Public Health degree.

Dr. du Pont is licensed in California, New York and Oklahoma. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. Dr. du Pont has authored and coauthored several journal articles and peer reviews.
