Alan M. Litwin came to Roswell Park after completing his body Imaging Fellowship at The University of Pittsburgh and his radiology residency at The Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Cleveland Ohio; before that, he had been a graduate student at Harvard.
Alan is a consummate sonographer and is Director of 3-D CT Reconstruction, with special expertise in CT-based vascular imaging, virtual bronchoscopy, and virtual colonoscopy. He is also a key member of the Radiology Cardiac Imaging Group.
Alan’s research efforts have been strongly supportive of many medical oncologists and of Dr. Gottlieb’s outcome-based “imaging as biomarker” efforts. He is a member of key research-focused committees.
In addition, Alan is sought-after as a teacher by both Fellows and medical students.
